Lisa Cox has been a former teacher and school counselor for 24 years. She is married with three grown sons. Lisa has a passion for empowering children and families and hopes that through her writing people can find hope and encouragement. Promoting kindness, appreciating diversity, and overcoming adversity are all important attributes that Lisa values in life. Lisa’s hobbies include boxing, songwriting, blogging. She loves dogs, especially a dog named Doodle.
Children have always been the center of Lori Hockema‘s life. Four children, two grandchildren, several Safe-Family children and hundreds of school children blessed her with rich experiences and insights. She believes every child is like a mustard seed ready to grow into something great. Lori enjoys reading, volunteering, traveling with her husband, gardening, and beekeeping.
